State of the art Check Rite valves answers industry's
demand for a lighter, more compact and durable wafer check
valve. Their compact design minimizes the distance between
faces and they are easy to install between ANSI or other
standard flanges. Only one set of flange bolts, which span
the valve, is used. The installed valve is more rigid than
the length of pipe it replaces, therefore there is no need
for expensive supports.
The spring actuated disc assembly operates in either a
horizontal or a vertical position, simplifing pipe layout.
The closing action is designed to minimize the destructive
effect of a sudden reversal of flow or line hammer, which
is more evident in conventional check valves. Operation is
automatic and silent when Check Rite is properly applied.
These valves are available in sizes 1 1/2" to 42" in ANSI
Classes 125 to 2500. Standard materials of construction include
Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Steel and Stainless Steel. Discs
and seat rings are stainless steel. O-Ring seats are available
when required. Other materials are available upon request.
For fire protection services we offer 2" to 12" valves
which are approved by Factory Mutual Systems and Underwriters
Laboratories of Canada.
Also for fire protection, we have fusible link valves which
are often used in tank farms to prevent the fuel from storage
tanks feeding a fire in an emergency situation.
