Non Transflow applications
Our vertical flow diverting valve is designed to accept media through the bottom (inlet – common port) and direct the product out to either of the two side ports. This valve is often used for alternately diverting flow from a single source to two different lines. With this configuration, the flow can be shut off by simply operating the valve 90 degrees. This also means no mixing of products during valve port position change. The valve requires 180 degree rotation with line flow shut off at inlet or bottom port with 90 degree rotation, and full diverter flow resuming with 180 degree rotation. Valves being used in 180 degree operation will have no mechanical stop to indicate the off position. Our safety latch-locking handle will act to locate the valve in 90 degree increments. Theses valves are versatile and are designed for flow either into or out of the common port.

T-port Design
T port arrangements at 90 degree rotation. The T port position is ideal for flowing into two lines from the bottom port, this vale type is a transflow 3-way product, mixing will occur during port position change.
