This one piece design body was one of the early design 3-way ball valve. Worcester and SVF converted their standard reduce port flanged model using a welded bottom flanged. The Flo-Tite valve is a one piece cast body design to replace the severe line plug valves. Our ball valve offers greatly improved flow with much lower torque.

Flo-Tite’s vertical flow diverting valve is designed to accept media through the bottom inlet (i.e. common port) and direct the product out to either of the two side ports. With this configuration, the flow can be shut off by simply operating the valve 90 degrees. Non Transflow and T-port Design are available for Flo-Tite's 3-piece valve design for higher pressure applications.
The Non Transflow design blocks flow at 90 degree point of rotation and eliminates mixing of products during valve port position change. The valve requires 180 degree rotation with line flow shut off at inlet or bottom port with 90 degree rotation, and full diverter flow resuming with 180 degree rotation.
T port arrangements at 90 degree rotation position is ideal for flowing into two lines from the bottom port. This valve type is a transflow 3-way product, mixing will occur during port position change.
